KMP or Flutter? Why not both? 🤔

So, I have lately been thinking about what multiplatform framework I should devote more attention to - KMP or Flutter.

As a native Android dev 📱, I love Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, so I was more inclined to go with KMP.

However, there is no denying that Flutter is the most popular multiplatform framework (at least right now) 🌐.

So there I was, stuck deciding what I should learn. And then I thought - “Why not compare both?” 🤷‍♂️.

What if I build an app, step by step, in both frameworks and compare their pros and cons for each step of the way?

What do you guys think? Would you be interested in that?

I plan on building a movie application (how original, right? 🙄). In this app, I’m planning to develop and cover the following features:

- Networking I/O

- State management

- ListViews

- Video playback

- Animations

- Architecture (best practice for each framework)

- Integration with Firebase

- Tests

I plan to make weekly updates on these features and discuss my findings for both KMP and Flutter.
